GC ZURICH BEFORE THE DERBY

The 34th round of the CSSL continues with the fourth and last Zurich derby of the current season.

Thanks to the 2-0 win against FC Luzern, the Hoppers moved up one place in the table and are now in 5th position. Three points behind FC Luzern and one point ahead of FC Basel 1893, the team now faces FCZ away in the Zurich derby. In the three duels so far, there has been one win each and one draw. The Hoppers are still ahead of their city rivals in the table and could make it clear who is number 1 in the city with a win. Head coach Giorgio Contini is looking forward to the derby: "The game is always special for our fans as well as for the players. We now have to confirm the important victory against Lucerne. We have to approach the derby with great determination and concentration right from the start and do everything we can to get the three points."

FCZ recently picked up a point away in Bern to extend their advantage over the barrage to seven points. This means that Bo Henriksen's team have won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five games.

For the match against FCZ, head coach Giorgio Contini will have to do without the long-term injured Momoh Francis and Filipe de Carvalho. In addition, Christian Herc will miss the derby due to a yellow ban. On the other hand, two important players, Guilherme Schettine and Tomás Ribeiro, will return to the squad.

As usual, the match can be followed on 86live via live ticker and radio. In addition, the match can be seen on pay TV on blue Sport.

Tickets for the visitors' sector & special derby shirts

Tickets for Sector B can be purchased on the day of the match in front of the entrance to the visitors' sector. In addition, the Hoppers will be wearing special derby shirts for the fourth Zurich derby as usual. The unique shirt is already sold out, unfortunately there is no possibility to order further quantities. The club has been overwhelmed by requests and apologises to those fans who were unable to get hold of a shirt.
