Mark went through all youth levels at Grasshopper Club Zurich and is currently part of the U18 squad. Thanks to his strong performances, Mark has been called up several times for first team training and was even allowed to take part in the winter training camp in Spain with the first team in January. Mark is currently being called up by the Swiss Football Association for the U17 national team squads and is thus gaining a lot of valuable experience.
In addition to football, the intelligent and down-to-earth footballer wants to finish school, as he considers his education off the pitch to be just as important. His primary goal remains to become a professional footballer, for which he likes to work tirelessly. The 16-year-old goalkeeper is aware of how long the road to his goal still is and what it takes to achieve it. With a lot of determination and discipline, he will now tackle the next steps together with Grasshopper Club Zurich.

Erminio Piserchia, technical director youth, is equally convinced: "I am very pleased that we were able to sign a contract with Mark, which he has earned primarily through his sporting achievements, but also through his independent manner and sense of responsibility. I am pleased to continue to observe his development and to accompany him together with the youth team and also with Jörg Stiel on his way to professional football."
Grasshopper Club Zürich is looking forward to continuing to work with Mark and wishes him a successful second half of the season.
