SASCHA MÜLLER NEW TALENT MANAGER AT GC ZURICH

Grasshopper Club Zurich is pleased to announce that the current head coach of the U16s, Sascha Müller, will take over the role of talent manager at the club with immediate effect. His post will be taken over by Jacob Wolf, who has already been working with the Hoppers' youth team since 2021.

For more than 12 years, Sascha Müller worked as a coach in GC's youth team. He then moved to GC women's football in the summer of 2020, where he became head coach of the AXA Women's Super League team, before returning to the GC academy as U16 head coach in July 2022.

"I am looking forward to the task as talent manager. I can count on my many years of experience in top youth football and my ties with Grasshopper Club Zürich. I would like to thank the club for the trust they have placed in me for this challenging task," Sascha Müller said of his new role.

Bernt Haas, Head of Sports at GC Zurich, added: "We are delighted to have found an ideal solution in Sascha. He knows the club as well as our youth department very well and has proven his skills and qualities in his many years with us. He is the right person to guide young talents on their way to professional football."

His post will be taken over by Jacob Wolf, who will serve as head coach of the U16s until the end of the season for the time being. The 33-year-old German, who holds a UEFA A license, joined the record champion in 2021 as head athletics coach of the youth department and previously worked for several years as a junior coach at Borussia Mönchengladbach, among other positions.

Grasshopper Club Zürich looks forward to continuing to work with Sascha and Jacob and wishes them every success in their new roles.
