André Moreira was substituted in yesterday's match against FC Basel due to an injury to his right adductor in the 25th minute. The Portuguese goalkeeper underwent an MRI examination today at Balgrist University Hospital, which revealed a tear of the adductor longus. Moreira will therefore have to rest for probably 3 to 4 months.
Grasshopper Club Zurich wishes André Moreira a speedy recovery and a return to training as soon as possible.
