For its 136th birthday, Grasshopper Club Zurich is pleased to present a special surprise to all its fans, the new GC song "Das isch GC" (This is GC)!
True to the motto "from the Fans, for the Fans", the new GC anthem "Das isch GC" was created. The song lyrics were written by singer-songwriter Aaron Asteria and could be refined thanks to the input of many long-time GC fans. The song describes the most important historical moments and features that have shaped the traditional club in its long history. Important passages from the GC fan chants were also incorporated into the lyrics. Aaron Asteria also lends his voice to the song, which will be played at GC Zurich home games from now on.

Live premiere against Winterthur
Next Sunday at the home game against FC Winterthur, the song will be performed live in the stadium for the first time by Aaron Asteria together with his band. The club therefore calls on Sunday already from 16.15 to take a seat in the stands to be able to celebrate the premiere together.
