AWAY AT BERN

In the 3rd round of the CSSL, the Hoppers will play away for the first time this season. The Zurich side travel to the capital to face BSC Young Boys.

"There is a lot of room for improvement, but I'm happy with the way we played," was head coach Giorgio Contini's conclusion after the opening win against FC Lugano. GC beat the Ticino side thanks to two Kawabe goals to kick off the new season. Now the Zurich side travel to the capital on Sunday to face the current leaders. Captain Amir Abrashi is not expecting an easy game: "After the good start to the season against Lugano, we now want to show a good performance in Bern as well. The team trained well during the week. It certainly won't be an easy match against YB, but we're looking forward to the game at the Wankdorf stadium and will be ready on Sunday."

YB have made an ideal start to the new season. They won the first two games with a total score of 7:0, with Wilfried Kanga in great form. The striker scored a total of three goals and is thus leading the top scorers' list. YB are also doing well on their road to the Conference League. Last Thursday, they won against Latvian representative FK Liep?ja with an overall score of 4:0.

For the match against YB, head coach Giorgio Contini still has to do without Florian Hoxha, Tomás Ribeiro, Sangbin Jeong and Simone Stroscio due to injury. In addition, centre-forward Guilherme Schettine is still awaiting his work permit. Otherwise, Contini will have the entire squad at his disposal.

The match can be followed as usual on 86live via live ticker and radio. In addition, the match can be watched for free through the livestream on <link https: onefootball.com en match external-link-new-window auf eine externe seite grasshopper club>Onefootball.
