GC will start the preparation for the 2022/23 season on the 17th of June. In addition, the test match against FC Winterthur is cancelled. The current pre-season schedule is available here.
The Hoppers are currently on summer break. On Friday, 17 June 2022, head coach Giorgio Contini will invite players to the first team training session of the 2022/23 season. The test match against FC Winterthur on 22 June has been cancelled. The first test match of the season will take place on 24 June 2022 against FC Schaffhausen. The highlight of the pre-season will be the short training camp in Crans-Montana. From 27 June to 1 July, the Hoppers will stay in Valais, where team-building events are planned, among other things.
GC will play a total of three test matches as part of its summer preparations. The last of these will be on July 9, 2022, in Bad Dürrheim, where the team will test against Bundesliga side 1. FC Köln.
