HEAD-TO-HEAD WITH FC SION

On Sunday, the Hoppers welcome FC Sion to Zurich. Against Sion, they would like to continue their unbeaten form and get the next victory.

Two wins and three draws. That is the team's record from the unbeaten month of April. Giorgio Contini's team thus showed a great reaction to the drop in form during March and is now in seventh place - two points ahead of FC Sion and six points ahead of the barrage place. With four rounds to go, it now comes down to a head-to-head clash with FC Sion. In the match against the French Swiss, they want to confirm their performance from the past games and get the next points. "It will be an important game for us. We are ready and we hope that the fans can give us an extra push from the stands. We want to continue the positive run and bring joy to our fans" said Dominik Schmid before the match.

In the previous three encounters, GC won twice with 3:1, once they had to admit defeat in Sion.

Paolo Tramezzani's team could only collect four points in the last seven games (3:1 against Lugano and 0:0 against Basel). Most recently, they were beaten by FCZ and YB. Now it's off to Zurich for the match against GC.

Against Sion, head coach Giorgio Contini will still have to do without Florian Hoxha, Tomás Ribeiro, Georg Margreitter, Kaly Sène and Petar Pusic due to injury.

The match will be broadcasted as usual on 86-Live (radio and live ticker). In addition, the match will be shown on the platforms of ELEVEN and OneFootball.
