HOME GAME AGAINST LAUSANNE-SPORT

This coming Sunday, FC Lausanne-Sport will be visiting Zurich. The Hoppers want to continue their upward trend against the bottom team and celebrate their first home win of the second half of the season.

There was great relief last weekend when GC walked off the pitch victorious for the first time in over two months. In Geneva, as in the weeks before, head coach Contini's team put in a solid and battling performance to earn the long overdue three points. However, there is no time to rest on this victory. The next very important match awaits on Sunday against last-place FC Lausanne-Sport, where the Hoppers will be looking to pick up three points again.

Lausanne-Sport have been improving recently after a disappointing season so far. With seven points from the last three games, Alain Casanova's team is in its best form of the season - but the gap to the barrage place is still seven points. Now Lausanne travel to Zurich, where they were beaten 3-1 in their last meeting.

Against Lausanne, head coach Giorgio Contini will still have to do without Florian Hoxha, Tomás Ribeiro, Georg Margreitter, Kaly Sène and Petar Pusic due to injury. Sangbin Jeong is also out due to an abdominal muscle strain. Furthermore, Bruno Jordão is not available because of a yellow suspension. Instead, Noah Loosli and Ermir Lenjani return from their suspensions.

The match will be broadcasted as usual on 86-Live (radio and live ticker). In addition, the match will be shown on the platforms of ELEVEN and OneFootball.
