SERVETTE HOSTS GC

After the draw against Lucerne, it's on to West-Switzerland. There, the next challenge awaits in Geneva in the form of Servette FC.

Last weekend's 2-2 draw means that the gap to the barrage place and thus FC Luzern remains five points. "We know that we didn't get enough points in the last two games, if you look at the course of the game. We now have to make up for this somewhere and we have the opportunity to do so this weekend," said head coach Giorgio Contini. Seven rounds are still to be played in the current championship, and for GC it continues on Saturday at the Stade de Genève. The Hoppers have now waited eight games for a victory, and they are hoping to do so again in the game against Servette. Head coach Giorgio Contini expects a good opponent: "Servette is a very good team, who just beat the leader. But we have always been able to show good games against Geneva. They are a team that also lets you play, but they are good in the transition game, with strong individual players."

Servette, meanwhile, are mid-table, level on points with FC St.Gallen 1879. They have picked up nine points from their last five games, and last weekend's win over FC Zurich should give them a particular boost. Kastriot Imeri scored the golden goal in the 35th minute.

Against Geneva, head coach Giorgio Contini will still have to do without Florian Hoxha, Tomás Ribeiro, Georg Margreitter and Petar Pusic due to injury. Furthermore, Noah Loosli (yellow/red suspension) and Ermir Lenjani (yellow suspension) are not available. Dominik Schmid will return from his yellow suspension.

The match will be broadcasted as usual on 86-Live (radio and live ticker). In addition, the match will be shown on the platforms of ELEVEN and OneFootball.
