Georg Margreitter suffered an injury to his right ankle during training last Friday. The MRI examination at Balgrist University Hospital revealed a syndesmotic ankle sprain. The Austrian central defender, who had to miss the Zurich derby on Saturday, will now face between 6 to 8 weeks on the sidelines.
Grasshopper Club Zurich wishes Georg Margreitter a speedy recovery and a return to training and championship action as soon as possible.
