LUGANO VISITS ZURICH

Two games within four days await the Hoppers. The first one is the home match on Thursday against FC Lugano.

An English week lies ahead for GC, with two games scheduled within four days. First, the Hoppers meet FC Lugano at home on Thursday, then they host Servette on Sunday. The gaps in the midfield of the table are very narrow. After the defeat against St.Gallen, GC slipped down to seventh place. Now two more midfield teams, Lugano and Servette, are coming to Zurich. Striker Kaly Sène expects a tight match: "We know that Lugano is not an easy opponent and it won't be an easy game. But we will prepare well and get the maximum out of it. We have to try to play our game. Unfortunately, we didn't manage to do that in the last games. But that's football. We will try to let the ball circulate more and also try to play more offensively. And then we hope that it goes better than in the other games [against Lugano]."

FC Lugano itself is currently fourth in the table. Three defeats and two victories are the results from the last five games. Most recently, they beat Servette FC 2:0 at home. Now it's time for the third encounter with the Hoppers. So far, the two teams have drawn once and the Luganesi have won once.

Against Lugano, GC will still have to do without Petar Pusic (health problems) and Amir Abrashi (yellow card suspension).

The match will be broadcast as usual on 86-Live (radio and live ticker). In addition, the match will be broadcast on the platforms of ELEVEN and OneFootball.
