AWAY GAME IN ST.GALLEN

This Sunday, the Hoppers will face FC St.Gallen 1879 at Kybunpark. GC will be looking to continue their recent good performances against St. Gallen who are in top form.

So far GC showed two very solid performances against FC St. Gallen this season, with two clear victories - 5:2 and 4:0. However, Giorgio Contini is also aware that this does not make next Sunday's task any easier and wants to keep building on the good momentum. His team seems to have found a good rythm in the second half of the season after the two initial defeats at the beginning of the year. The team from Zurich delivered two solid performances against Lausanne and YB, scoring four points. Especially against the reigning champions, the Hoppers came back twice after being behind and showed once again a great morale.

Contini's side will need the same attitude against FC St.Gallen 1879. The team from Eastern Switzerland has had an almost perfect second half of the season so far, with four wins out of five games. Only in the home game against Young Boys they had to settle for a draw. St.Gallen's strong moment is also reflected in the table, where they sit now only one point behind Grasshoppers.

Against St.Gallen, Grasshoppers will still have to do without Petar Pusic (health problems). In addition, it is still unsure if central defender Tomás Ribeiro will be part of the match due to some small knee problems. Li Lei, who missed last game, is fit again and ready to play.

The match will be broadcast as usual on 86-Live (radio and live ticker). In addition, the match will be broadcast on the platforms of ELEVEN and OneFootball.
