Grasshopper Club Zurich further strengthens its midfield: Bruno Jordão joins GC from Wolverhampton Wanderers on loan until the end of the season. The 23-year-old Portuguese midfielder landed in Zurich on Sunday and is immediately available to coach Contini.
The central midfielder, who joined Wolves for reported £6 million from Serie A club Lazio in 2019, was loaned to Portuguese first division side FC Famalicão last season. In his career so far, Jordão has also played 16 games for various Portuguese national youth teams, scoring 2 goals.
"Jordão perfectly fits our requirement profile. He is a box-to-box midfielder who possesses good technical skills. We are happy that we could come to an agreement with Wolves to bring him to Zurich. He has great potential, which we hope he will be able to fully express here in Zürich," said Technical Director Seyi Olofinjana.
